Insurance companies employ teams of adjusters, engineers, and attorneys to evaluate your claim. Catalyst Public Adjusting exists to bring that same level of professional expertise to policyholders, appraisal disputes, and litigation support.
Insurance companies employ professional adjusters, engineers, and legal teams to evaluate every claim. Most policyholders, by contrast, face that claim alone — often for the first time, often during the worst week of their year.
Catalyst Public Adjusting was founded on the conviction that this imbalance is solvable. Our team brings backgrounds in financial oversight, claims operations, property assessment, and regulatory compliance to every file we open, so policyholders have access to the same caliber of professional representation insurers already have.
What sets Catalyst apart is breadth: public adjusting, insurance appraisal, umpire services, and expert witness support, all under one roof, handled directly by licensed professionals rather than passed between departments. Whether a claim is worth $40,000 or $4 million, it receives the same standard of care.

To ensure every property owner has access to the same quality of professional claims representation that insurance companies employ, delivered with expertise, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to accurate recovery.
We tell clients what their claim actually warrants, not what they want to hear.
Licensed, credentialed professionals handle every file — not call-center staff.
Especially in appraisal and umpire work, where independence and precision are the job.
We respond to every inquiry within one business day, no exceptions.

Co-Founder & Licensed Public Adjuster · Chief Operations Officer
Barry has five years of experience in the insurance industry as a Public Adjuster and Appraiser since 2021. Before entering the field, he served as a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and a retired Slidell Police Department Lieutenant.
Prior to Catalyst, Barry served as Senior Vice President of IRWIN & Associates and Co-Owner of All Perils Consulting Inc. As Chief Operations Officer at Catalyst, he is responsible for day-to-day operations, the intake-to-close workflow, and administrative staffing.
Barry has witnessed firsthand how insurers can fail to indemnify policyholders fairly after years of premium payments — and the anxiety that causes when a claim isn't handled expeditiously. That experience drives his focus on operational efficiency and client communication.
